CORE TEACHING EVENT
Our brains have evolved to keep us safe. When we are in a conversation with someone who “gets us,” we feel safe. We relax at all levels. When we encounter different perspectives from ours, we may find it intriguing and/or threatening. If threatening, then our fight or flight system is likely to become activated, making it difficult to remain in Mutuality with the other.
In this sitting, we will consider how Mutuality can be an occasion for daring. We will explore our edges and how we can lean into navigating the challenges of mutuality in difficult conversations.
