TA RELATED TEACHING EVENT
The petal of the Trillium Awakening path associated with Mutuality has many ways in which to approach it. Empathy is one of those tools/gifts that we can each develop and utilize to have more effective communication and engagement with each other. It also allows us to monitor the impact that our words and actions have on others as well as being sensitive to others needs and emotions. At times, this can help us recognize when we might need to participate in Restorative Yoga, i.e. the need to apologize when our impact harms others. This presentation will explore what is meant by empathy, how we can use it with effectiveness in Mutuality, Restorative Yoga and provide practice for developing empathy for our Whole Being Realization.
If you are new to Trillium Awakening, your prerequisites are attendance at an online Trillium Awakening Introduction or participation in a Free 1-to-1 Introductory Session with a Trillium Awakening teacher.
If you are not new to Trillium Awakening, your prerequisites are previous participation at an in-person or virtual sitting, workshop, or retreat, or having sessions with a Trillium Awakening teacher.
Jim Trofatter has been involved with this work since 2004 and became a member of the teacher’s circle in 2014. He holds monthly sittings in southern New Jersey and occasionally in Philadelphia. In his work, he draws on his experience as a shamanic practitioner, teacher and meditator to help facilitate people on their next step of their life’s journey. Though classically trained as a geneticist, he works now as a shamanic healer and a playwright (and anything else associated with theater.)
