An essential part of Whole Being Realization is our ability to both radically embrace and also integrate all of our parts. For many of us, embodiment hits snags when we look at our whole, physical selves. Sex and sexualities can be areas of taboo, aspects of our awakening self that are difficult to bring to full awareness, embrace and integrate. Yet, if we are to fully awaken in Whole Being Realization, we’re called to investigate areas that feel taboo and understand them from the perspective of the Core Paradox. Where have we been wounded? What does healing look like? How can we use our awakening process to help us embrace these parts?
This workshop, the first in a series on taboo, will focus on sex, sexuality, sexualities. We will be exploring and embodying taboo topics through the vehicles of creative expression: art, poetry, movement, sound. Morning sessions will be engagement in experiential creative expression and afternoons will be an opportunity to process and integrate in small groups. Thursday evening will start with the creation of a safe ritual container for our time together. Monday evening will be integration and ritual closing.
