CREATE! Poetry

CREATE! is a depth creativity process that I have developed and teach. It enables anyone to access depth creativity, divine guidance and universal wisdom at will. Practitioners often use writing as the vehicle for discovering and accessing that guidance and wisdom. The following poems are examples of pieces written while in the integrated brain wave state that CREATE! fosters.

Breastbone

Near the breastbone there is an open flower.
Its fragrance fills the air.
Pilgrims come from afar to glimpse its beauty.
To catch a whiff of its intoxicating aroma.
Their hands fly to their hearts in appreciation.

Near the breastbone there is an open flower.
Bow your head and fill your senses.
See the petals, delicate and free, anchored and alive.
Smell the sweetness swirled with spice.
Feel the vibrant electric pulse rippling out in waves.

This flower opens slowly, teaching patience.
This flower requires tending, teaching love.
This flower stuns the senses, teaching appreciation.
This flower attracts attention, teaching mutuality.
This flower is rooted deep in your Heart of hearts, teaching devotion.

Near the breastbone there is an open flower.
Opening to the lusciousness of life.

Secrets

I have a secret to tell you.
You are inconceivably beautiful.

I have a secret to tell you.
You are made of molecules of love.

I have a secret to tell you.
Your presence warms and welcomes.

I have a secret to tell you.
Your innocence is intact.

I have a secret to tell you.
Your brilliance is blinding.

I have a secret to tell you.
Your unfolding is a flower.

I have a secret to tell you.
Your questions and answers are one.

I have a secret to tell you.
Your heart is your guide.

I have a secret to tell you.
Love paves the way.

Hearts Awaken
Hearts awaken with the dawn.
Tendrils tenderly stretching into the day. Reaching, exploring, connecting. Winding round and reaching out.
At the center is the heart break.
The wound that needs no healing.
Pulsing with aliveness and heat.
Pouring love into the broken world.
Permeating every body, every cell, every moment, every space.
Hearts awaken radiating warmth through the mist. Shining, illuminating a way forward.
Meeting and merging. separating and individuating.
Made of the ineffable, the unknowable, the magical, the mysterious.
Trusted and true. Present and accessible. Open and yielding.
Fall into this cauldron of love that knows no bounds, Has no face,
Needs no answers.
It embraces you. Holds you.
Is you.

Adorable Goddess

Adorable Goddess.
The feminine lives in each of us.
Honored or reviled. Worshiped or ignored.
We all spring from her womb. We all seek
her solace in times of hurt. We all learn to love
in her arms and in her eyes.
She can be tender and fierce.
We must mother ourselves with at least as much care.
We must raise ourselves up to offer succor where needed.
When we are deeply rooted in the feminine, nourished and fed the ambrosia of love, then and only then can we turn to the masculine and meet it with wholeness, humility and honor
The Goddess births and anchors all in love.

Become brilliance

Wipe clear the fog of forgetfulness.
Shine the mirror of the universe.
Study the reflections.
Embrace the shadows.
See yourself everywhere you turn.
See your myriad miraculous manifestations. The parade of your desires.
The expressions of your angels and demons. Dance with them all.
Invite them all into your true home.
Feed them, give them rest.
Marvel at their manners or lack thereof. Listen for the secret message
Only you can hear.

Bones

Your bones know the icy burst of river water.
Your bones know the melting warmth of fire.
Your bones know the pounding insistence of miles.
Your bones know your width, your height, your density. Your bones know your curvature and snakiness.
Your bones know your dance moves.
Your bones know your longing for bear hugs.
Your bones know the value of kissing.
Your bones know all your bright ideas and untried theories. Your bones know the shortest route between two points. Your bones know your daily rhythms and rhymes.
Your bones know the intimacy of flesh.
Your bones know leaping and limitation.
Your bones know gravity and its friend free fall.
Your bones know the fragility of being human.
