Deb Amos

Mentor

Welcome Message

Hello, my name is Deb and I’m delighted to serve as a Trillium Awakening mentor. It is an honor to walk alongside someone and be gifted with glimpses into their world, their experience, and provide deep listening, support and encouragement as they deepen in their own process.  After reading this, if you feel called to connect with me please do so via email and we can arrange a quick Zoom chat to see if we are a good fit and how I might support you in your unique unfolding.

I’ve been involved with Trillium Awakening since about 2009, and for most of that time have been a very active member.  I still remember my first encounters with this work through Saniel Bonder’s audio book of Waking Down.  I had previously been drawn to Buddhist teachings however hadn’t been an active spiritual seeker.  Rather, I had my own sense of what spirituality was for me.  Listening to Waking Down for the first time, I recognized an approach that was in alignment with my felt sense.  One that valued the whole person and held space for the transformation that can come with investigation of self and other as well as consciousness (and recognizes them as part of the same whole).  I felt then excitement and alignment with this work, a feeling that has deepened over the years into profound gratitude for all of the gifts, learnings, and revealings that I could never have dreamed of in the beginning.  Not only has my path lead me to a spiritual awakening, but also a personal awakening into a rich fullness of self.

In addition to my involvement with Trillium Awakening, I have also been a great student of personal development for more than 20 years.  I’ve trained in a wide variety of modalities including completion of a Bachelor Degree of Psychology, Advanced Practitioner of Coaching, and certification in Somatic Inquiry.  I’m currently completing a Masters in Counselling, teach Mindfulness & Qigong, and work as a Transformational Coach.
